stated he was born in Washington Co., GA. The oldest home in Liberty, DeKalb Co,
Tennessee was owned by Josiah and Jane. Jane Caroline purchased lots 15, 16, 17
& 18 excluding store and 20 feet in 1848 from J. S. Vaughn (Dekalb Co., TN
Deed BK C p 364).

deed he is referred to as both Joseph and Josiah. Question is his wife a
Thompson.
