1848-4 Feb-Will of Edmund Walls; wife Elizabeth all my land during her life or
widowhood. I also give her one sorrell mare, one bay filly and all my stock of
cattle, hogs, sheep, bees, flowls, all my household & kitchen furniture, and
also my cart & oxen for the same term for her benefit and to raise my
children on, Be it known furthermore that at the Expiration of the widowhood of
my beloved wife Elizabeth Walls that it is my will & wish that all the above
mentioned land and property be equally divided between and among my four beloved
daughters Martha Walls, Nancy E. Walls, Lucy Ann Walls and Jane Walls, or be
sold and proceeds be equally divided between my daughters above mentioned with
the exception of Four dollars and fifty cts to Caroline Connelly the wife of
James Connelly and also of the proceeds of the above mentioned land and
property. It is my will & wish that my son Henry T. Wqalls have two dollars
and fifty cents and my son Daniel Walls have two dollars & 50 cts, and my

Preston, David Harris and wife Louisa formerly Louisa Preston, Joseph Baily and
wife Sarah A. formerly Sarah A. Preston citizens of Canon County, Tennessee, E.
C. Preston and N. B. Preston of Wilson County, Tennessee and wife Josephine
formerly Josephine Preston and Anthony Mulliken of Warren County, T. J. Preston
of Kentucky who are children and heirs at law of Wm Preston, decd. That they are
children and heirs at law and legatees of the last will and testament of Edmond
Walls, dec’d who departed this life some time in about the year 1847 in Cannon
County, Tennessee, and your complts Henry T. Walls (now dead) Daniel Walls (now
dead) Edmond J. Walls who resides in Ill, Mary Preston Caroline Conley and
