On 9 Nov 1693 on petition of Peter Vasser, Edward Jones is appointed Constable in Vasser’s stead. 7. WILLIAM⁴ VASSER (WILLIAM³, PETER², JOHN¹) died Abt. 1754 in Amelia Co., VA. He married MARY. She died bef. 27 Feb 1772 in Amelia Co., VA.  William purchased 140 acres of land from Isaac Garrot and his wife Susannah on 19 July 1744. Land in Amelia Co., VA bordered by Thomas Webster's corner on Appomattox River and the branch called Deepe Gulley. Amelia Co., VA Deed BK 2 page 90. On 28 June 1745 William with John Hendrick and Thomas Williamson witnessed deed of Hugh Nixson to Jacob Williamson in Amelia Co., VA. Amelia Deed BK 2 p 176. On 18 Mar 1750 He purchased for 60 pounds 55 acres from Isaac Garriot and wife Ann. Land in Amelia Co., VA in fork between Persimmon Slash & Gulley bordered by lines of Vassar, Charles Garriott, Stephen Garriot & Charles Cosmos. Amelia Deed BK 4 p 57. On 2 Nov 1752 he purchased from Stephne Garrott for 20 pounds 55 acres adjoining head of the Posimon Slash along dividing line of James Garratt & Stephen Garratt, lines of William Finney, Charles Cousins & William Vassar, with all houses. Possession obtained by William Vassar on 2 Nov 1752. Amelia Deed BK 4 p 500. Also on 2 Nov 1752 he purchased from Isaac Garratt of Province of Carolina for 60 pounds 55 acres in the fork between Persimmon Slash & the adjoining gulley adjoining lines of said Vassar, Charles Garratt, Stephen Garratt & Charles Cousens. Amelia Deed BK 4 p 502. Then on 28 June 1753 William purchased from Stephen Garret 55 acres for 28 pounds bounded by head of the Persimmon Slash, a dividing line between Stephen Garret & Charles Garret, & lines of Finney & Charles Casson. Amelia Deed BK 5 p 40. On 6 July 1754 he purchased for 28 pounds 55 acres of land from Stephen Garrot adjoining head of the Persimmon Slash, the dividing line between Stephen Garrot & Charles Garrot, line of Finney and land said Vasser bought of Isaac Garrot. Amelia Deed BK 5 p 177. Charles Garrott of Albermarle Co., VA on 21 July 1756 deeded for 150 pounds 159 acres in Raleigh Parish of Amelia Co., VA to William Finney adjoining lines of William Finney & William Vassar, decd & the Appomattox River, being land devised to said Garrott by his father, John Garrott, by will on 15 Feb 1742. Amelia Deed BK 5 p 462.

William made his will in Aug 1754 and it was probated 28 Nov 1754. Son Richard Vasser 140 acres southside gulley bought of Isaac Garrot; Son Jesse Vasser 55 1/2 acrs northside gulley bought of Isaac Garrott; Son William Vasser 55 1/2 acres bought of Stephen Garrott divided by line of marked trees from land bought of said Isaac Garrot; wife mary remainder of my estate to be at her disposal, and lend her the land for her life or widowhood. Amelia Co., VA Will Book I p 110. Inventory returned 26 June 1756. appraisers Thomas Webster, Peter Webster, John Gibbs. Administrator Mary Vasser. Slaves Negro man Jack woman Moll. Amelia Will BK I p 117.

Mary made her will 29 Aug 1771 and it was probated 27 Feb 1772. Executor Son Richard Vasser. Witness George Rowlett, Peter Webster, Jr., , Sarah Rowlett & Elizabeth Webster. Son John Vasser tract of land in Amelia Couny on the gulley branch containing 111 acres boundeed by Finney's, Webster's & Richard Vasser's lands. Son George Vasser Negro boy Charles. Son William Vasser feather bed & furniture Son Richard Vaser Negor woman Moll, boy Sam, also all remainer of real and personal estate not already given. Estate not to be appraised. Amelia Co., VA Will Book 2 p 22. Inventory returned 28 Mar 1772 Slaves Negro woman Molly; boys Charles and Sam. Amelia Will BK 2 p 29.
