Sluggers 4vs
Brevard Bats 7
The Sluggers lost to a strong Brevard Bats team. The pitching was strong
with Clark, Seth and Garrett providing a good pitching performance. The
game finished with the Bats winning 7-4. There was also some good hitting.
Clark Bledsoe had 2 RBI's and Scotty Holmes and Seth Foster had one RBI each.
Saturday 15th 4:45PM Sluggers 7 vs
Delaware Angels 4
In the afternon the Sluggers avenged the first loss with a win over a good
Delaware Bear team. The Sluggers broke a close game open in the 3rd inning
with 7 runs. Pitching by Ryan Heinz was stellar. Also pitching was
Justin Hurley and Clark Bledsoe. Seth Foster had 3 RBI's. Ryan Heinz
and Scotty Holmes had one each. Scoring
runs were Tony, Justin, Seth, Clark, Garrett, and Paul. The
win was a true team effort.

Central Florida Red Raiders 4
Sunday morning found the Sluggers a little tired and fatigue became an issue.
Scotty Holmes started on the mound and pitched well for three innings. In
that game Clark suffered from a jammed thumb. Seth and Justin had sore
arms that hampered their efforts and crucial errors led to the second loss.
The game had one very big highlight, however with Scotty Holmes hitting a solo
shot over the left field fence. The shot was approximately 250 feet.

Team Longwood 1
Sunday afternoon the Sluggers evened their record to 2-2 by beating a Longwood
team. Clark Bledsoe started on the mound followed by Jonathan Pillow.
Both pitchers were effective allowing only 1 unearned run. Highlights of
the game consisted of a 3 run home run off of the bat of Jonathan Pillow.
Ryan Heinz, Scotty Holmes, and Paul Jones each had RBI's in that game. Scoring runs
were Justin 2, Seth, Ryan, Scotty, and Tony and Jonathan with his home
run.
Monday 17th Championship
SUNDAY FEB 23rd 2:00PM at Southside Estates SLUGGERS 2 VS STARS 11
Scoring runs were Jonathan Pillow and Seth Foster. Clark Bledsoe had
an RBI on double.
Sunday FEB 23rd 4:00PM at Southside Estates SLUGGERS 2 VS STARS 1
What a day we had yesterday. The North Florida Sluggers fought back from a
difficult defeat to win the second game of the afternoon double header.
Exceptional pitching was seen by both squads in the second game. Jonathan
Wallace and Kevin Maulbetsch led the Sluggers to victory. Only one run
crossed the plate for the STARS team.
Scoring runs were Seth Foster and Tony Harper who came in to run for Kevin
Maulbetsch., Paul Jones had an RBI.

2PM Game highlights. In first inning was 1-Wallace to 3-Foster to 6-Sutton
Double play. In third inning Harper lead off with single and scored on RBI
single by Justin who scored on RBI by Clark. Shane had single and scored
on RBI single by Scotty. Justin pitched three innings and did not allow
Stars to score.

4PM Game highlights-In second inning Scotty had single and scored. In
fourth inning Jonathan hit a double and scored on fielders choice RBI by
Brandon.
