My Jones ancestor, Ebenezer Jones, moved from Augusta County, Virginia about 1790 to Surry Co., NC.  He then moved to Stokes County, North Carolina, and then to Iredill County, North Carolina.  In Iredill County he owned land as did his sons, Ebenezer and Prettyman.  They then moved to Blount County, Tennessee before April 1796.
