Explanation" The County of MiddIesex which enclose the City of London.
Contractors were hired to transport convicts. S is for Sessions of Goal
Delivery. "In general the more serious cases (by contemporary standards)
were sent for trial at this Sessions which met eight times a year, and the vast
majoriy of the sentences of transportation were imposed by this court which sat
at the Old Bailey. Only Sessions could impose the death sentence, the records of
those reprieved for transportation will all be found uner this heading." T
is when ship left. Forward was the ship. It appears it transported convicts at
least once each year.

1768 -18 Mar-Robert Wooding is ordered to pay to sd William Green Alexander
mcGinnis' proportion of his father William McGinnis' estate. (Halifax Co., VA
Deed Bk 7 p113).
1768-18 Mar-William Green of Amelia Co & Jeremiah Keen of Halifax are bound
to Robert Wooding Admin of estate of William McGinnis decd. Court ordered
Wooding to pay to Green & McGinnis his proportion of his father's William
McGinnis's Estate. If Green will pay back to Wooding from
time a proportionable part of Said Alexander's estate that will be sufficient to
pay any debt that may hereafter come against estate of William McGinnis decd.

McGinnis estate,which was to have the balance divided among the 8 orphans. Named
were James,Alexander,Andrew,William and Molly.

William Thompson, Armistead Wotlington & John Williams do settle an Accounts
Current of the estate of William McGinnis, decd & that Robert Wooding, Gent.
